Imagine a baby born small enough to fit in the palm of your hand. In an average week in Texas, more than 1,000 babies are born prematurely—many so small they must fight for their lives.
The March of Dimes is dedicated to realizing the day when all babies are born healthy. March of Dimes researchers, volunteers, educators, outreach workers and advocates work together to give all babies a fighting chance against the threats to their health: prematurity, birth defects, low birthweight.
